In our house we love breakfast. I love cooking it, my husband loves cooking it, and we both love getting creative. I tasted this hash from a local eatery and wanted to do something to mimic it because it was SO GOOD! I used things we already had in the house and it turned out delicious.

One thing I'd love to do more of is signs for children's bedrooms. I'm obsessed with the idea of creating a sign for your child that they will see everyday, that will inspire them. One of the first ones I made was the one for Maguire that says "Beautiful girl you can change the world." I want her to believe that. I want her to know that every sweet thing she does for someone changes their world, if only for a moment. I want her to know that the things that she does matters. They can make a lasting impression no matter how big or small. What words would you want in your child's room to inspire them for years to come?
I absolutely love making these signs. I tested it out with my dad's handwriting and loved it. I had a request for this sign for a woman who wanted to make several for her siblings. I can't wait to make more of these, they're such a sweet way to remember a loved one.
![]() Someday soon I am going to perfect these little bite size treats and I'll post a blog about all of my trial and errors (there have been A LOT.) These looked and tasted fantastic but were a little hollow on the inside, which I believe is from over meringuing the meringue. They are so delicate and finicky but they're fun to play with. This was Maguire and I's first time making these together and she loved them! |
AuthorI love all things creative! I'm happiest when I'm making signs, food, comfy spaces and big pretty dinner tables. I have the sweetest family. I love plants, camping, live music and trying new things. I love cozy movie nights and snacks. Archives
